Yuengling Heritage Brand Is Back On Tap

September, 2008

Pottsville, PA, — D.G. Yuengling & Son, Inc., America's Oldest Brewery, is pleased to announce that Lord Chesterfield Ale will once again be served on draft. It is one of the brewery's distinct classic beers, proudly brewed since 1829. The re-launch of this package is scheduled for mid September.

Yuengling Lord Chesterfield Ale is crafted in a unique two-stage European brewing style for enhanced bitterness. It utilizes both conventional kettle hopping and dry hopping after fermentation, which results in a dry sharp finish.

"The rollout of Lord Chesterfield Ale draft is a long anticipated return of a brand that consumers have grown to love for its distinct robust flavor," commented Lou Romano, Marketing Manager. "There has never been a better time to reintroduce one of our authentic heritage brands on tap, as it is one of the finest Ales on the market today."

Beginning in September, Lord Chesterfield Ale draught will be available in slim quarter barrels. The initial release will be limited to select markets.
